Hamer Lodge #167 offers scholarships to graduating seniors and college students. The details of these scholarships and how to apply can be found here.
Leland Stroh & Richard Fry Scholarship
Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026
The Wapakoneta Freemasons Scholarship, in memory of Leland Stroh and Richard Fry, provides three (3) One Thousand Dollar ($1000) scholarships to graduating seniors of Wapakoneta High School. Applications can be found in the guidance office at Wapakoneta High School or by clicking "Apply Here". Applicants do not need to be related to an Ohio Freemason to be considered. Submissions can be turned into the guidance office at Wapakoneta High School or emailed to scholarships@wapakfreemasons.com.
Adrian G. and Anne M. Werst Scholarship
Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2026
The Adrian G. and Anne M. Werst Scholarship is made available to graduating high school seniors whose father or grandfather are currently, or in the past have been, a member in good standing of the 10th Masonic District under the jurisdiction of the Grand Master. Hamer Lodge #167 is part of the 10th Masonic District. Applications are handled through the Lima Community Foundation.
Temple Board Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to direct relatives of a Hamer Lodge #167 member to continue to provide support for them while they are in college. This scholarship can be applied for on a yearly basis as long as you are in still in college. To apply for this scholarship, you will need to send an email to scholarships@wapakfreemasons.com with the following information:
- Your name and contact information
- The name of the Hamer Lodge #167 member you are related to
- A current transcript from the most recent completed quarter/semester
- A statement requesting a scholarship from the temple board to support your continued education
Grand Lodge of Ohio Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2026
The Grand Lodge of Ohio provides scholarships through the Grand Lodge of Ohio Charitable Foundation. Scholarships are distributed to young men and women throughout Ohio's twenty-five masonic districts. The recipients must be a graduating high school senior. Applicants do not need to be related to an Ohio Freemason to be considered.
